~ Insurance is optional. For items under $50, it's currently under $2. Please let us know via email if you require it. Click this link to view.  Sorry, but at this time, insurance is not available for International orders.  

~ A gentle reminder - once your item leaves The Covered Bridge Store, we, of course, cannot be responsible for any damage. If you are concerned about your item(s) getting damaged en route, please consider getting insurance.
~ Item(s) are packaged very securely and protected against the elements with plastic/bags. When packaging, wherever possible, we use clean recyled materials - foam pellets, bubble wrap, clean newsprint - to cut down on costs.
~ We typically ship the next business day of cleared payment.
~ Keep in mind, the cheaper method of sending is not always the fastest:

Media mail - books, paper, dvd's, videos - is usually the cheapest method available, but it is also the slowest, sometimes taking weeks.
Flat rate is relatively expensive - $8.95 for a shoebox style box - and this method is notoriously s-l-o-w on delivery.
First Class is the next best option in cost, usually with a time of 3-4 days anywhere in the U.S. Also, with First Class, anything over 13 ounces must automatically be upgraded to Priority.
Priority is more expensive, but it is very quick, usually within 2 days anywhere in the U.S.
Express/Overnight is also available, but it is extremely expensive - best used for emergency purchases!
~ Confirmation / tracking numbers are purchased on all domestic item(s), then the numbers are emailed to you for confirmation and delivery.
~ International orders are welcome. Just let us know the address so that we can figure the shipping on the invoice for payment. And of course, please be aware, shipping internationally can take significantly longer to arrive!

Unless otherwise noted in a particular auction, you can use the following chart as a guideline for shipping costs (keep in mind, charges may be less, as we charge only actual costs for shipping and handling).

Unless specified within a particular description, for items over 10 lbs, the postage will be assessed based on the zip code of the purchaser. Contact us for shipping prices on any items over 10 lbs.

We are confident you will be absolutely satisfied with your purchase. However, we do have a satisfaction guarantee: if the item is not as described and you are not completely satisfied, our valued customers can return an item within two days of receiving it for a full refund of the item. Shipping costs - to and from - are the customers responsibility.
All we ask is communication (email) as to the reason why you are returning the item, so that we may improve our products and service in the future.

Keep in mind as you shop, these are used, VINTAGE items – affectionately, maybe even passionately loved VINTAGE items. They are not new! We make every attempt to check all items thoroughly, and describe any and all imperfections (we even use a lighted magnifying glass! :). However - descriptions are subjective - what may be an undesireable mark or flaw in my opinion, may be entirely acceptable to you - and vice versa. What may be in "fair" condition to me, may be in "good" condition to you. There are bound to be some imperfections, maybe some wear, here and there on these used items, so again - PLEASE! ... :) ... Ask questions before buying!
